“Tears of My Students (Still Warm)” Enamel Pin

Do you mark in red pen? Say things like “you’ll thank me later”? Enjoy watching the moment a student realises there’s a second placement portfolio?

This one’s for you.

The “Tears of My Students (Still Warm)” Enamel Pin turns your “tough but fair” reputation into wearable art. A cartoon cup brimming with blue liquid (definitely tears, not an iced latte) is topped with a striped straw and labelled with the words “Tears of My Students (Still Warm).” It’s dark, it’s dramatic, and it’s exactly the level of chaotic energy your role requires.

Perfect for:

• Clinical educators & preceptors – especially on days filled with logbooks, OSCE prep and “have you read the policy?”

• Uni & TAFE lecturers – when your rubric is feared across entire cohorts

• Senior staff & supervisors – the ones who somehow know when nobody has done the readings

• Tutors & skills lab demons – CPR dummies, IV practice and shattered confidence in one session

Why it belongs in your pin collection:

• Brutally honest humour – a playful nod to high standards and tough love teaching

• Durable hard enamel – smooth, glossy finish that stands up to busy shifts, lectures and overstuffed bags

• Bold design – easy to read at a distance, looks great on scrubs, lanyards and jackets

• Perfect gift – comes on a sleek backing card, ideal for end-of-placement presents, graduation gifts for new educators, or that brutally honest mentor you secretly adore

Great for nurses, doctors, paramedics, allied health, first aid trainers, lab demonstrators, lecturers, tutors and any educator whose students say “I’m scared of them… but in a good way.”

Pin it on, take a sip of metaphorical student tears, and remember: diamonds (and competent clinicians) are made under pressure.
